Everything linuxlive is made of
The tools that build and test every distro are public, and so is every distro in the Library. Read them, copy them, or send a change.
linuxlive's own
github.com/Eric-Ness/linuxlive · GPL-3.0
The pipeline: turns a spec into an ISO, boots it five ways in QEMU, installs it to a disk and checks the result. Also the installer, the boot checks and the reusable GitHub Actions workflow every build runs.

The template behind "Build it in my GitHub": one spec, its art and a workflow. Make your own copy and GitHub builds and boot-tests your distro for free.
Use the template

The Library: every distro on linuxlive.com/library is a folder here, added by pull request, reviewed, then built, boot-tested and published by its workflows.

The website itself (linuxlive.com and its sign-in service) is not public yet.
Built from
Every ISO is made from these projects, and many more inside Ubuntu and Fedora. linuxlive is not made or endorsed by any of them. For the source of what is inside an ISO, see Getting the source code.
Help out
- Found a bug? Open an issue on linuxlive. A security problem? Report it privately.
- Want an app in the catalog? It is one line in catalog.yaml.
- Made a distro? Share it in the Library.
- Booted one on real hardware? Tell us how it went in an issue; reports from real PCs are the best testing there is.
